Kobe Auto Lda, based in Maputo, Mozambique, respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information through our website and enquiries about our vehicles.
1. Information we handle
You can browse our vehicle catalogue without creating an account.
If you create an account or sign in, we process the information needed to identify your account and provide its features, such as saving favourite vehicles. Never share your password with our team.
We store your language preference and guest favourites in your browser. Favourites saved while signed in are linked to your account and stored on the server.
When you contact us through WhatsApp, telephone or another available channel, we receive the information you choose to share. We also maintain staff access records and administrative activity records to manage the website.
If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your name, verified email and Google account identifier to create or link your customer account. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive or contacts. You can continue browsing without using Google.
We send account verification and recovery emails through our Hostinger email service. Links expire and can only be used once.
2. How we use information
We use this information to:
- Provide the website and account features.
- Remember your preferences and favourite vehicles.
- Answer questions about vehicles and availability.
- Follow up on your requests and arrange visits.
- Manage authorised access, protect records and investigate problems.
3. Browser storage
We use local storage to remember your language and guest favourites. You can clear this information through your browser settings, although doing so may remove your saved preferences.
Authentication may also use cookies or similar mechanisms managed by the authentication provider. The current website does not use advertising analytics tools.
4. Service providers and external links
We use hosting, storage and authentication providers to operate the website. These services may process information necessary for their operation and security.
When you open links to WhatsApp, Google Maps or social media, you use external services governed by their own privacy policies.
Our internal writing assistance feature may send selected vehicle specifications to Google to suggest descriptions. It is not intended to process customers’ personal information.
5. Retention and security
Account information, favourites and administrative records are retained to support website features, customer service and security. You can ask the team to delete your account. In the app, where available, you can also delete it after confirming your identity. Deletion removes account data, favourites, preferences and associated enquiry records; backup copies remain for their retention period.
We apply authentication and authorisation controls to restrict administrative access. No system of internet transmission or storage provides absolute security.
6. Your choices and requests
You can browse without signing in, remove favourites and clear locally stored browser information.
To request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information we hold about you, contact us. We may ask for enough information to verify your identity before responding. Some information may need to be retained to meet applicable obligations or resolve outstanding matters.
